Band of Jays is the solo project from multi- instrumentalist Julian Volpe (Jay). Julian has been a side man on dozens of studio and live projects nationwide over his 30 year musical career so far. He hails from Charleston, South Carolina. 
Influenced by artists such as Jason Falkner, The Posies, R.E.M., and Motown music, Julian's music is a reflection of his diverse musical background. Each of Julian's tracks are masterful fusions of different genres, featuring soaring melodies, intricate guitar solos, and soulful harmonies that demonstrate Julian's creativity and love of music.
