Koji Kali, born “Ka’Trina Domonique Bryant” (born May 30, 1993) is an American record producer, musician, singer, and songwriter. At the tender age of two, Koji began showing signs of wanting to be affiliated with music. It was the angelic sounds of her mother’s voice that sparked the interest. She plays 7 instruments; the primary one being the flute, which were all self-taught. Bryants’ first recorded output was a “neo soul” album for her mother/artist Rina entitled Turning Up The Heat. Prior to this release, she incorporated the name “KB Flows Productions” and has gone on to produce 3 independent EPs ranging from (Jazz, Deep house, and Pop. She also produced an LP for herself entitled The Objective (which contains genre’s such as rock, rnb, hip hop, pop, techno, and funk); which was released in later 2014. Currently, Koji is now working with a few independent artists and producing singles in the pop realm.
She cites Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Janelle Monae, Death, the Sonics, Earth Wind and Fire, Zapp & Roger, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, amongst many others as influences. Also, she cites Quincy Jones, Missy Elliot, Rodney Jerkins, Timbaland, Rick Rubin and Pharrell as favorite producers.
