- Kris Powell aka "Mistro" or M.I.S.T.R.O an acronym standing for Music Interprets Situations Through Real Obsevations that symbolizes all topics of his music are based on or inspired by real life events. Mistro was born on July 21, 1992 in Beeville, Texas to a single mother. At 11 yrs old he began writing poems on a variety of topics ranging from civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. to Maturing at a young age. Basketball being his 1st love and having an aspiration to become a NBA player his focus gradually shifted to music when he discovered a love for composing songs & having the power to speak directly into a fellow human beings life. Currently working as a rapper/singer & aspiring producer in Fort Worth, Texas he aims to bring feelings of hope & inspiration with his music while maintaining humility through his rise of stardom & success.
