Bio:: A soaring alt-country style accented by inspired vocals and a shimmering onstage presence, this is music that is full of integrity, emotion, and an undeniable vibrant energy. Although she has spent years touring and honing her live performances in numerous cover bands, Daniels' work as a solo artist has been no secret to those lucky enough to watch her mature as both a singer and songwriter. After all, her 2008 debut EP sold 1,000 copies in her hometown, while her song "Still" has received plays on CMT's hit show "Unstable" (in addition to singing the show's theme song). After working relentlessly to build an underground fanbase on Facebook, Myspace and YouTube, Daniels is ready to release her highly anticipated self-titled debut album to country enthusiasts and mainstream pop fans alike. Working alongside producer/songwriter Sam Ellis for the past year, the duo has managed to create an album that is as infectious as it is thought evoking. With influences of Shania Twain, Keith Urban and a dash of Katy Perry's glitter, Daniels' debut LP will no doubt become one of the breakout releases of the year. Performance highlights include the 2010 CCMA’s New Artist Showcase, NXNE and the Havelock Country Jamboree. Leah is currently planning the release of her 1st single to country radio across Canada in April followed by the release of her debut Factor supported CD this Summer.
