Bio:: Loyd is the heart and soul of the Human Project. He writes all the lyrics and music and then gets musicians to go in the studio and lay down the basic tracks. He then finishes them up and gives them that Human Project sound. He has written over 30 songs and has released 3 CD’s. They all received extensive internet airplay, and sell quite well, the biggest market being Switzerland where they really dig The Human Project. His first release was The Real Stuff, in 2006. This landed him a gig at Stanford University where he played the pre-game party to open their newly renovated stadium. He played several other gigs before disbanding the live version of the Human Project for personal reasons. From this point on he concentrated on writing and recording. He released Human Project II, Humanized in 2008, and Best of The Human Project in 2010. He is currently finishing up he first new CD of all new songs in over 3 years. He plays to take The Human Project out for a few gigs and have a CD release party to let his fans celebrate his new release with him. His unique sound and lyrics have brought him a world-wide following. He is a regular on Mark Kerr’s Blues nation out of Louisiana, and The Road Rash Blues show out of London. As a sidenote, Loyd acquired the nickname "the Human" in his 20's and it stuck. Thus....The Human Project.
