Mark A’lleven’s approach to soul music is a process of merging gospel undertones with “matter-of-fact” secular delivery. A’lleven’s pure, urgent crooning is influenced by generations of soul men.
One of 3 sons of a Baptist minister, A’lleven was born in Pontiac, Michigan, where he now resides. From his early school years and singing in the church male chorus, A’lleven honed his skill and passion, which led to his contribution as co-lead singer in a Michigan based group called Good Brother. Fans are already boasting his unique phrasing and urban enunciation.
A’lleven has worked diligently with co-contributer and producer Marcus Cole on his much anticipated debut album entitled “24” which contains a remake of Bobby “Blue” Bland’s hit “Ain’t No Love”. Fans are sure to fall for the heartfelt transparent-appeal “Walking Away”, while nodding their heads to the infectious anthem “Don’t Leave Me”.
Mark A’lleven makes up the 2nd half of the much talked about SoulPreachas.com which promises to deliver nothing but thought-provoking, soul-shaking, mind-liberating material for years to come.
Ladies & Gentlemen… Mark A’lleven!
