"Mars", Marcel Saibert, actor, model and director – but first and foremost, he's a passionate musician. And not just with heart and soul, but for years with great success.

Music has always played a major part in MARS‘ life. Back in 1993 he was part of the band “Konstruktive Kritik”. In the years 1999 and 2000, he was the singer of the duo “Double Up”, with which he also toured through Japan. 2002 MARS founded the band “Juicy Junk” (laut.de: “potential successor of Faith No More”). His extraordinary stage show and charismatic appearance gets him a role in the main cast of the German daily-soap "Unter uns" (GRUNDY UFA), where he plays the musician Martin "Mars" Sommer. He remains as part of the main cast for five years (2005-2010).

In October 2007 MARS‘ debut album On Air was released, whose first single from the album, Reason, shot from 0 to No. 15 of the official German Single Charts. In 2009 MARS started again with full force and introduced his first singles "Play" and "Let There Be Love". MARS has an incredible musical versatility and knows how to assert his charismatic voice regardless of the genre.

In August 2010 MARS officially left „Unter Uns“, to put full focus on his passion – music. Under the motto “Be Educated – Be Cool” he went on a nationwide School-Tour, during which he played music in the workshops with a total of 550 people and performed his songs in front of approximately 3000 students during his gigs.
