Roelyn Wilde was born and raised in Canada’s Greater Toronto Area.
Growing up in a heavily music-based environment, she was exposed to every type of sound, and developed a true passion for music.
By the age of 3, she began memorizing lyrics and singing, and by 6, she was reading music and playing the piano – eventually playing various band instruments, and doing small performances.
After moving to Ottawa in 2008, Roelyn studied Music Industry Arts at Algonquin College, and started writing her own lyrics as of 2011.
She went on to become a member of the Recording Academy of America, and in 2013, she interned with Indie Pool Music and got to attend the 55th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California.
Over the years, Roelyn gained experience through different producers and creative teams, and landed her 1st global feature in 2020, on Nic Grhymes’s pandemic track “9and3mi6,” along with Sir Jax.
Roelyn Wilde then released her debut single “My Type” ft. Nic Grhymes on July 24th, 2021 and got recognition on Hip Hop Canada.
She collabed with Nic Grhymes once again in 2022 on his latest mixtape and they released "All In Stride".
This past Valentines Day, she released her first solo track "Addiction" and its been gaining a lot of attention!
The song achieved the #1 spot on the Top 10 Countdown for Hollywood's Indie Music Channel's Radio Cafe Show, and has been on the countdown for 20 weeks straight so far!
Roelyn has also reached #1 on Soundclick's Urban Chart, as well #2 on Reverbnation's Hip Hop Charts!
Roelyn Wilde has just released her 3rd single "Love You (All That She Wants) on May 27th, 2023 and has another single dropping by end of summer 2023.
She is proud to announce that she is working on her first EP that will be ready for the end of 2023 or early 2024!
