Bio:: Pet. the Music... An idea conceived in Los Angeles, California, 2005. A completed musical dream in the Inland Empire, California, 2008. The final product of a harmony between friends and music making. Pet. the Music., aka PEt, an alternative rock band, has won over their listening audience by being able to simultaneously bear resemblance to bands like The Pixies, Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins . while maintaining a unique, fresh sound that, “makes you smile when your mouth doesn’t want to.” Their upbeat melodies and sincere lyrics will remind you of “everything you like... of your happiest day, and how you feel when you’re falling in love,” as is stated by PEt music fans.
Though Pet. the Music. started in 2006, it’s band members, individually and as a group, have acquired many years of experience. They have opened up concerts for internationally well-known bands Aterciopelados, Kinky, La Gusana Ciega and Jumbo . They have played in Los Angeles and Orange County venues such as The Knitting Factory, Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, House of Blues, The Grove, Los Angeles Sports Arena, Fais Do Do, The Westchester and Mr. T’s Bowl.
