Nancy Diaz (Ciutat) was born in Toronto, Canada from first generation parents of Chilean and Spanish descent. Being immigrants to Canada, Nancy’s parents instilled hard work and dedication into her at an early age. With their struggles and a persistent commitment for a better life, she learned that anything is possible with hard work, dedication and a dream.
Nancy never lost site of her vision, and in the early 1990’s her determination began to pay off as she transformed her infectious smile into modeling and her beautiful vocals into singing.
While attending University Nancy wrote and recorded:

After University Nancy went on to write and record the following:

•"I'm Your Lady" (2009) produced by Jerry B from Boom Studio
•“My Heart Breaks” (2010)
•“Something about you” (2010)
•“El Amor” (2010) produced by D’Arcy Mcgilligan of Front Water Productions
Throughout the years Nancy has been collaborating with various producers and talent all while learning the “tricks-of-the-trade” in the industry. She eventually found her inner voice and style and is now recognized for her new pop sound as can be heard in her summer hit - "Summer Addiction" - single released in July 2011, produced by Gaetano Lattanzi
This high energy dance song created a buzz on CHUM FM when it received 118K votes to stash it and NOT trash it. This song also hung on to #1 on The Oringial Sound Track along with various other radio stations.
Nancy is currently working with talented producer Gaetano Lattanzi of Caelum Entertainment on her latest EP called "Eyes Don't Lie" to be released Jan 2012. This EP will represent the latest in high energy dance hits and will include:

•"Stutter"
•"Tonight"
•"DJ"
