Nedra Russ
signer/songwriter
Nedra picked up a harmonica at an early age and just has never put it down. Her career, though, has gone into overdrive the last few years with international and widespread recognition. A student of renowned masters of the harmonica, Howard Levy, David Barrett, and Joe Filisko, this charming dynamo with a giant voice has harnessed the depth and the range of this small instrument to the pleasure of every audience, live or on the web, that has the privilege of hearing her.
Nedra, an active member of SPAH (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica) continues to perfect her chops through the educational opportunities afforded by this professional organization dedicated to nurturing excellence in players of this versatile instrument.
Nedra Will be offering 2 seminars at SPAH this year open mic 101 and one on speech level singing and harmonica.
See you in Texas!
Blues, gospel, pop, rock, Celtic, folk, country, Nedra's harmonica sails all these musical seas, not to mention her imaginative and celebrated originals such as "Do Right," "1 More Kiss," Two Coins on the Counter," "Sunny Day Blues," and "Ramblin' Girl."
"blogger Gwen Bohdan writes"
“• Switching gears a bit, we move on to blues singer and harmonica player Nedra Russ whom I like to call the soft side of grit. Her femininity comes through in her vocal intonations, but when she blows harp, she holds her own against the boys.”

Finger-style, American Primitive Guitar
With 50 years of guitar under his belt, Julio Stanford Guerra has traveled a long highway of music...from birth at 10,000 feet in the Andes Mountains to his present home in West Point, California a 3,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Starting with the buttoned-down folk music of the early 60's, to Elvis and the surf music and Chicago Blues that predated the Beatles, then seasoned with a healthy dose of early American Primitive Guitar and mid-60's rock and roll, finally tempered with a career in various old-time string bands, Julio always carried the blues with him wherever he went.
Now, with nJr, he is has found his home.
Julio will also help with seminar open mic 101 and at SPAH to jam with the other harmonica players.
Jerry Harmon Congratulations my friend. I am touring the UK mostly now, and I have to say it is a lot of fun. I shared some of your songs with a friend recently, and he was amazed. I think you are one of the best finger picking guitarist I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot of them. I even use that style myself on certain songs. You however have a unique style as well as being a tremendously good player, and that is what separates you from the pack.
