Nicon Samuels, who goes by the stage name "Cessnaldo" is one of the best upcoming artistes. Born in one of Jamaica's historical cities, Port Royal; where he currently resides, "Cessnaldo" believes, from weakness comes strength. While his teenage peers were enjoying the youthfulness of their days, he was forced to put his ambitions of school and music on hold. He became gravely ill... After surgery, recovery seemed almost impossible; but God's favor intervened. As a result, he has gained resilience and more so stronger determination. Presently, life's journey has allowed him to write countless songs, three of sixteen songs recorded are currently in heavy rotation. "Please Call Me", "Increase Di Peace", and "Do You Care". In society where women is frequently undermine, "Please Call Me" sends a powerful message of how women should be treated, by being cared and pampered for. "Increase Di Peace" speaks volume of how society should live together as one. And "Do You Care" emphatically states the urgency for attention of those poverty stricken. These songs have given him the winning title of three DJ contests. No stranger to winning "Cessnaldo" has also won "The Jamaica Division One Basketball League." To date he has performed at Asylum, Hype t.v, events held in Port Royal and performances islandwide. "Cessnaldo" has appeared in "The Jamaica Daily Star" three times "The Reggae Source Magazine" an America publication, distributed worldwide. In addition, this aspiring "Music Mogul" has also performed and interviewed on airwaves such as "Zip fm" where his first song debuted, Hot 102 fm, KLAS fm 89, 91.3 WVUD a Delware radio station and New York "Redhot" 107.3fm radio.
