- The band Nights on Venus grew out of a solo project by Craig "Professor" Thomas and was officially launched in Denver in 2010. The first album was completed in Dallas and released on June 5, 2011 on Thomas' own record label, Excellent Sky and is available on iTunes and CD Baby as well as here. NoV is based once again in Colorado in Golden and Craig is currently at work on the second album to be entitled "In 4 The Evening," which is slated for release in early summer, 2012. Atmospheric, hypnotic, lush, "brain-wavin'", and ethereal are words that have been used to describe NoV's music.
