The Paul Gargiulo Band has been playing all over the US for the past 20 years. Collectively, the members of band have shared stages with the likes of Bettye Lavette, Bobby Witlock of Derek and the Dominoes, Mikey Jr., trumpeter Ted Curson, Alice Leon, Dona Oxford, Richie Sambora and Robert Randolph and the Family Band’s John Ginty who appeared on the band’s “Life Pouring Through.” They are seasoned performers and the band is currently making frequent appearances at the New Jersey shore, in Northern New Jersey and in New York. They have released several studio albums that have been met with rave reviews such as 2004’s “Life Pouring Through,” a mix of rock and roll with a few funky tracks thrown in also Alt Country styles , For the latest record, released in 2011, the band decided to try something different and record the entire album live in front of an audience at the Franklin Tavern in West Orange, NJ. This album, appropriately titled “Live at the Franklin,” focuses solely on the band’s new original material of straight ahead rock music with solid rock and roll, Country, pop,singer, songwriter and roots influences while still remaining relevant to today’s audiences.
