In autumn 1993 Rochus Pfaff founds the formation ODIUM. First as a pure cover band, they quickly decided to write own compositions and to produce the first demos. Musically it goes in the direction of Thrash, Powermetal with progressive influences. Textually subjects are lies, hatred, and death. In April 2001 one resolves to take up the "first" album at the LFT studios of Marc Bugnard (ex Roko). The cooperation with Marc also continues the following years and albums. Positive resonances for the productions with magazines (Rock Hard, Metal hammer and others) follow. For the topical release „Stop my anger" a part was taken up again in the studio LFT. For the mix they decided to let no other than Andy Classen (Tankard, Disbelief, Belphegor etc.) to do the job. About the years gigs and festivals are continuously played and ODIUM sets up to a firm size in the Rhine Main area. Gigs with Testament, Holy Moses, Tankard, Dead soul tribe, Crematory are played and the fan base is extended steadily.
