Bio:
My name is “Renny J” & I'm from Brooklyn, NY. Some folks consider me one of the premier accomplished bass players of recent years (I don't know about that... lol). My grandfather & father (Reunald Sr. & Jr. respectively) were well known & accomplished trumpet players. Reunald Sr. (“Jonesy”) played with Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Quincy Jones, James Brown's band & Nat King Cole. Reunald Jr. (my dad “Bo”) played w/ James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr., Motown's Funk Brothers & other well-known artists. You can hear his signature trumpet every time you hear the “Sanford & Son” & “Ironside” theme song. Because of my unique playing style, I've recorded w/ Parliament (“Clones of Dr. Funkenstein album), Donna Summer, Toni Braxton, and many other artists.

In addition to playing bass guitar, I also play rhythm guitar, drums, and keyboards.
