Our artist was born with a twin called Music.
Ronald joined a band that used to play in a local night club in his hometown, Sta. Cruz, Marinduque, Philippines, with the permission of his parents, at the age of 8 but it was short lived as he had to go back to school after summer.
Our artist was really born for music. He obtained his first educational degree all with the help of having been granted full scholarship from joining the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Concert Singers in Lucena City, Philippines. Our artist was an active and leading tenor of the university's ambassadors of goodwill.
In 1986 after college in Lucena City, Philippines, Ronald and his friends formed a rock band called Scarecrow and they played for almost 2 years in a local pub D' Dangle. He was the male lead vocalist of the band. For financial reasons, Ronald had to leave the band and sought a stable job in the government.
After 20 years of government service with limited music exposure, Ronald retired from work and reunited with his family. They migrated to Limerick, Ireland in 2008.
In Ireland, Ronald and some music enthusiastic Filipinos formed a band called Pines Horizon. The band still exists these days just for a hobby and with no definite direction.
Realizing that his co-band members are not so eager to pursue original music as he does, Ronald opted to move forward as an independent artist.
His influences include Toto, Kenny Loggins, Bryan Adams, Huey Lewis and The News, The Queen, Michael Learns to Rock, and Phil Collins. He has dreamed of creating sophisticated musical arrangements like those created by the multi-Grammy awarded American band Toto.
Ronald is currently taking the course Audio Engineering and Music Production with the Audio Institute of America.
