Bio:: Ryan King is a soulful vocalist and song writer that shows his prowess with lyrics set to pop, hip hop, R&B, and rock tunes, best described as alternative fusion! Ryan was born December 22 in Monterey, CA, and now resides in Atlanta, GA. Growing up in an environment of drive-bys and drugs contrasted against the prettiest coasts around, Ryan developed an ability to express himself in lyrics. His upbringing, tough times, and strong family has taught him how to pray and continue living life no matter the circumstances, allowing him to reach out to men and women of all ages. Today Ryan imparts this advice to those around him: to enjoy each stage of life, you tend to miss them when they are gone, and he embodies the saying that ‘Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear’ (Ambrose Redmoon). Artists such as Brian McKnight, Babyface, Luther Vandross, and Michael Bolton are among the greats that continue to drive Ryan to be among best writers and performers in the industry today. His true musicianship makes it inevitable to be respected as a true artist. ‘Signal Light’ and ‘Get Right Girl’ are among the singles that compile Ryan King’s untitled debut album that is scheduled for release 2011.
