Born in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Sean has been playing the electric bass from an early age of 14. He was influenced by many great players including Abraham Laboriel, John Patitucci, Jeff Berlin, Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, and many more. He began playing music in school and then studied under guitar teacher Tony Clarke and others. Sean plays the 4 ,5, 6 and 7 string bass guitar and began playing in the gospel circuit for most of the top gospel artistes and shows in Trinidad and Tobago where he built a solid reputation. From there, he branced off into the secular scene where he began playing outside of his country where again he built a solid reputation and earned the respect of his peers as a bass player. The list of musicans and projects are too numerous to state at present.
Sean has done recording projects, festivals in the Caribbean islands and the US, concerts and productions just to name a few. These days, Sean enjoys working alongside Clifford Charles (also on MySpace), Elan Parle (also on MySpace), Louis and the Lynx (also on MySpace), Gideon Bishop (also on MySpace), Michael Boothman, Carlton Zanda, Darren Sheppard, Aldon Moore and many more.
Sean also enjoys teaching and passing on knowledge to others as he sees this as important. "Whatever you put in is what is going to come back at you..." this is Sean's mantra, because he believes in hard work, effort, practice and determination are important for success and achievement. At present, Sean is working on his album to be released soon... you will be the first to know!............
