Sandy Hall is a seasoned vocalist and songwriter of extraordinary natural abilities and range with an intuitive sense of melody and pitch. Her soulful tone coupled with her powerful "big" voice is often compared to iconic female rockers like Ann Wilson, Pat Benatar, Chrissie Hynde, Melissa Ethridge and Stevie Nicks.
In 2021, out of almost 40,000 submissions, Sandy was in the 2.6% nominated in 4 categories at the independent music Josie Awards; Artist of the Year Rock genre, Vocalist of the Year Rock, Song Writer Achievement and Tribute Artist for Heart tribute winning Artist of the Year Rock. 2022 she was in the 1.8% and nominated in 5 categories out of 52K submissions and 2023 nominated for Fan's Choice, Artist of the Year and Tribute Band inthe 2.5% of 60K submissions.
Years of live performing have earned her the respect of her peers and fans. Inevitably, she leaves crowds with a "goose bump" moment with her moving and magnetic performances.
Sandy started singing professionally very young - in her adolescence solo singing in church and also appearing on local TV while still in grade school. She added to her resume recording national radio commercials. Of note, for Care Free Sugarless Gum airing in 11 cities. She rattled the rafters of noted Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware hot spots to thousands of fans as a lead vocalist for many rock/pop, special affairs bands and original bands. In recent years expanding her travel performances to Nashville TN, NY, OH, IL, VA, MA, CT, MD.
She has opened for national performers including in 2017 Joan Jett and the Black Hearts and over the years for Eddie Money, Heavens Edge, Kip Winger, Dan Reed, Jeffery Gaines, Jeff Scott Soto, Jason Bieler, Morris Day & The Time and Living Colour, Corey Glover, Eric Martin of Mr. Big. Danny Vaughn of Tyketto.
Sandy has been the "Ann Wilson " lead vocalist in Heart tribute band Kick It Out since it's inception in 2008 touring the East Coast at large festivals, theaters and casinos.
Sandy also has extensive recording studio experience lending her voice to original tracks written by others as well as writing and recording her own music. In addition to Heart tribute band shows, she performs her original music cowritten with Chris DeMuro and John Callaghan in the tri-state area.
