Bio:: My first single, Gonna Make A Change, is featured in the Lionsgate movie Hell On The Border. I wrote Gonna Make A Change while working on set as an actress. I fell in love with the Screenplay & the Producer challenged me to write a song after learning I was a "closet singer-Songwriter". I knew it would be a difficult task because The Producer, Director & Lionsgate would have to love my song enough to place it in the film. Gonna Make A Change is a song about the life of Bass Reeves who was the first African American U.S. Marshal. It is a song about overcoming oppression and challenges regardless of nationality or color of your skin. It is a song about never giving up on your dreams that so many of us can relate to.
I wrote my second recorded single at the beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic Outbreak while being away from family and friends. It was a way for me to vent my own feelings on paper and express how so many people feel during these uncertain times. Stand Together Now is a song about spreading light and love while continuing to stay safe during COVID-19.
