Thunderlizard is the band/concept/alter ego of drummer Shannon Brown. After failing to find anyone to jam with, he decided to do everything himself. But more than a one man band, Thunderlizard would be an expression of everything negative inside him. A venting of pure hate and despair. So Shannon both created and became Thunderlizard.
