A project that started back in Tel Aviv, Israel, SideFields is an ongoing, ever developing body of work. Nowadays it is back in the form of a full band, backed up by Time For Reconstruction, the latest collection of songs. SideFields came to life as a band in the beginning of 2002. For five solid years members came and went along the way. The band kept on, rehearsing, performing and recording in order to find our sound, and in the beginning of 2006 they realised needed to capture bits of it. Upon releasing the EP the band relocated to London. During the process of recording Time For Reconstruction, singer Itay Kashti played all across London, showcasing acousting renditions of his carefully detailed recordings. Later joined by Omer Adulam on guitar and backing vocals, they've played a few gigs together. Still without a drummer they've used live electronic beats to enhance their sound. The final step was when young Ed Kontargyris has joined them on the drums to create a full live platform for the songs to shine trough. Nowadays you can catch them on London & UK prime venues, with europe soon to follow. Until Time For Reconstruction is released you can hear the songs on www.sidefields.com
