Bio:: "Bohenstiel" meaning beanstalk in German,is not only singer-songwriter Summers Bohenstiel's last name but parallels the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk when discussing Bohenstiel the band. Summers is a carpenter, by trade, and the father of Zander (6) and Esirae (17). Summers is no stranger to the responsibility of providing for others. For this inspired young man, the decision to immerse himself into his music was the equivalent of selling the family cow for magic beans. With a twist of fate his story will have a fairy tale ending. When introduced to Darren Hunter, president of Onfolyfe Records, Summers rendered a bone chilling acoustic audition of his original song "War Cry", and within months, Summers was a signed artist. Confronted with the challenge of recording an album in two weeks, Summers found some of the very best musicians and went to work. Sometimes the planets do align, or fairy tales do come true, and that is exactly what happened with this CD. Bohenstiel is in route to find a castle dwelling giant and when they do, rest assured, they will snatch the harp and the goose and make off to the homestead with a prosperous music career. With inspirational hymns like "War Cry" and smooth ballads like "That's What We Get", Bohenstiel is poised to become a staple of any music lover's archive.
