Bio:: Based out of North Carolina, Chris Whitman & Britt Warren founded The Nut Drivers. With that, a musical partnership was formed, that has produced magical results. These talented individuals were destined to come together in order to create and develop the sound tracks of their lives.
Although The Nut Drivers may be a new band, its members have been involved in the music industry for a very long time; bringing with them over a hundred years of combined experience between them. With four members, this original band delivers a multitude of genre blending influences that is best described as “an experience”.
Those that have heard The Nut Drivers use terms like "future classic rock", "progressive southern rock" & "aggressive R & B” to describe them. BUT if you ask the members of the band how they best describe their music, they will simply tell you that it is a "crossroads type Rock which is a little on the progressive side". Then again, when you hear their ballads "Pain" or "Before You Condemn", they will have you thinking crossover Country. No matter which way you slice it, the fruits of their labors have definitely paid off for The Nut Drivers.

CHRIS WHITMAN, has been writing songs for artists for over 25 years & has founded such groups as: Crimson Mist & The American Rock Project. Chris has performed in bands like Moonshine Jenny. Not only does he write great songs, he accompanies those songs with a raw vocal style, influenced by Motown artists & classic rock bands we all know and love.

Enter BRITT WARREN, song writer, composer, producer, & 30 year studio session guitarist recognized for his instrumental guitar compositions. Britt has been influenced by a myriad of genres. You can place Motown & classic Rock at the top of that list. Hence, the ideal fit was made.
So in 2010, when that chance meeting took place, as Whitman & his band walked into Warren’s recording studio – history was made. Warren listens to vocals and realizes the potential & invites Whitman to record vocals on a couple of his songs to see if his suspicions are true. After hearing the results, it was clear, there was something there that needed to be explored, thus The Nut Drivers were born.

Their collaboration resulted in the release of their debut CD "CRAZY LOCOMOTION"
