Bio:: Team TNT (Thad & Tasha Johnson) is a dynamic, inspirational husband/wife duo. The couple composes, produces, and performs original music that is inspired by their spiritual walk. This power couple's music is positive, thought-provoking, and motivating; most importantly, it transcends race, gender, age, and genre. Team TNT performs all styles of music: jazz, hip hop, rock, r&b, rap, gospel, contemporary, blues, country, pop and spoken-word. Team TNT believes in making responsible music that evokes emotion within the souls of their audience. They have written over 80 songs since August 2009 and have released a double disc cd entitled New Dimension: No Labels. Their debut album is currently available on CD Baby. In addition, they have recently composed and recorded a new set of work, a testament to their growth and resilience as they continue to follow the Lord's leading. Thad is a former police commander who was born and raised in South Memphis, TN. Tasha is a former teacher/counselor born and raised in Flatbush Brooklyn, NY by her Jamaican family. Their unique blend of southern soul and Caribbean vibe inspires magical music for young, old and everyone in between to enjoy. It is now the mission of Team TNT to motivate and enlighten the world through the God-given art of music. We are singers/songwriters/spoken word artists/motivational speakers. OUR PURPOSE?
