Thomas Parisch is an award-winning composer currently based in Los Angeles. Making a name for himself early in his career with his music for the horror survival game classic “Resident Evil 6”. Thomas’ works can also be heard in many films and on television working for clients such as NBC, Disney and TF1 (Europe’s most viewed TV network), among many others. Having recently established a tenured role as a key composer for Tencent (the world’s biggest game company by revenue), Thomas composed music for many of their biggest, most acclaimed releases including Honor of Kings (the world’s top-grossing mobile game of May 2017), Iron Knight, Naruto (a Tencent game based on the synonymous cult manga), Legend of Xuan Yuan, Moonlight Blade OL and Grain. For Moonlight Blade OL, Tencent's highest budgeted in-house title, Thomas also wrote and produced the theme song “Shiguang Canghai” collaborating with Asian pop idol Dimash Kudaibergen. A multinational production recording in Beijing, Budapest and Los Angeles, the song won the 2017 Hollywood Music in Media Award as best song in a video game. Regularly collaborating internationally on the highest level, Thomas’ original works commissioned by noted production music company, Audio Network, was recorded with full orchestra at world famous Abbey Road Studios in London. A recent milestone featured a collaboration with internationally celebrated recording artist, Lang Lang, performing an original composition at the opening ceremony of Honor of Kings e-sports tournament, KPL 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai.
An avid arranger and orchestrator, Thomas’ recently contributed arrangements to Awaken, My Love, the latest album by Grammy winner, rapper Childish Gambino debuting top 10 on the Billboard 200. His orchestrations can be heard on many Hollywood blockbuster films such as “Legion” and “The Iceman”.
On top of his work in media and pop, Thomas writes music for the concert hall featuring performances at festival such as HearNow - LA’s premier platform for new music.
Originally from Germany, Thomas jump-started his career in Hollywood soon after his arrival in Los Angeles by becoming laureate of the 2009 ASCAP Film and Television Scoring Workshop, a highly selective international masterclass for up and coming film composers. Thomas is a Berklee College of Music alumnus and a graduate of USC’s prestigious Scoring For Motion Pictures And Television film music program receiving the BMI scoring scholarship.
