Bio:: A writer, a Singer and Indie artist, this is T-Resa, Texas's latest gospel artist. T-Resa's diverse musical reference are expressed in her brand of uniqueness, cross-over gospel. Armed with an infectious sound, talent, writing skills, she forms her own sound: a sort of smooth gospel.

T-Resa learned she could sing long ago, when she was a 10-year-old who won a Gong show type contest in Miami, FL. Later, at the age 15, she cut a demo record.

If you ask T-Resa what's her passion, the answer will be, "My heart is with singing and preaching the gospel. T-Resa has performed in Savannah night clubs such as Raymond's during their talent show nights.
Back in Miami in 1978, she joined a group called SKYY, after being discovered at Westview Jr., High school talent show. She later had an opportunity to sing background during a studio session with the rock group K.C. and the Sunshine Band.

For T-Resa, whose mother is a pastor, music has always been a part of her life. T-Resa declares that her mother started a female gospel group when T-Resa was just nine years of age. Which later caused her to develop a love for singing church hymns.

In penning the title track (Second Chance) T-Resa was receiving 16 weeks of chemo therapy for stage 3 Breast Cancer. "I heard the Lord say, He's given me a second chance," T-Resa says.

In addition to singing, T-Resa has earned a P.h.D. in Religious Education. She have founded Refreshing Waters Ministries and have written several books.

T-Resa has always had a passion and love for preaching the gospel and sharing the gospel through music, and when she takes any platform God has her on, she shows a compassion that is absolutely contagious. You can't help but worship the living God.

"I am influenced by other singer/songwriters who are also singers and producers: Shirley Caesar, Anita Baker, Patti Labelle, Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, James Moore, " she shares.

"Through SECOND CHANCE, I want listeners all around the world to know-God gave us a "Second Chance," when He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for us on the cross!
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Rescue Me

In penning the title track (Rescue Me) T-Resa was at a low point in her life fighting stage IV-Breast Cancer.
