BEE Uyen Phuong is no stranger to the public, as she was the 5-time winner of “Happy Notes” (Vietnamese version of “Name That Tune''), a national Game Show that aired on primetime. Besides her achievement in reality TV, she was the valedictorian of HCMC Conservatory of Music, class of 2005. Then, she appeared again on the news as the first Vietnamese female student to ever receive a scholarship from the renowned Berklee College of Music. In addition to her Bachelor of Music, majored in Jazz Piano at Berklee, she also graduated with a Master of Music at New England Conservatory, specializing in Contemporary improvisation. The pianist also won 7 National Gold Medals in competitions hosted by Yamaha and Kawaii in Vietnam. Most recently, the Vietnamese-American pianist won 11 awards, including “Artist of the Year" and “Recording of the Year" at the 10th annual Indie Music Channel in Hollywood, California.
Presently, aside from her performing career, BEE Uyen Phuong is currently an instructor at MI (Musicians Institute) contemporary college of music.She is also the principal and founder of BEE Music School in Orange County, California.
