The world of Volary’s music is a world full of light and darkness. It examines the hope, despair, and countless other feelings that struggle through us as part of the human condition. Her debut album, “Out of Shadows,” not only earned a 5 star review from Muzikreviews.com, but was also named their “Pick of the Week” (Dec 4, 2010). Volary muses about her creation: “You might compare it to a sculpture of delicate flowers made out of barbed wire.” Most of the songs delve into the darker sides of the human psyche, but as in a chiaroscuro, there is always light again.
