The first original Christmas song release from Youlanda Burnett entitled “A Long Time”.  It is fitting because she has wanted to release a Christmas song, for a long time.  It’s a song about missing the people or person you haven’t seen in a while, especially with the holiday season upon us.    One of the first things we always say when we see them, is hey “it’s been a long time”.  It is a heartfelt and moving track.  She draws from some of the emotions she felt when her grandmother passed away, on Christmas Day.  It took her a while to start enjoying that day again but out of that pain she made one of her dreams come true.
