Bio:: DeJaVoux, former Motown recording artists, is back again. Straight out of Brooklyn, NY, these bona fide sisters are the real thing: true performers and polished professionals of their craft. Cheryl is a mature urban songstress representing full-figured women to the fullest. Her background is rooted in Gospel, R& B, Hip-Hop and Pop music. Featured at some of N.Y.C.'s most known dinner clubs, including the Soul Cafe', Cheryl is a soul stirring artist who is bound for success. *Cristal rides at the helm of Tumpani Entertainment with drive, confidence and savvy. She is producing artists like M.A.C., Cheryl, Daylan Tomas, as well as her solo project. Her work with producers like Kenny Whitehead and Rodney Jerkins prepared her for her own creative direction.

Together they make DeJaVoux. From 1994 until 1996, the sisters were signed with Motown as members/songwriters of the R&B group DeJaVoux. There they wrote and recorded over thirty songs in preparation of the release of their debut album while working with musicians such as veteran Larry Gold and Grammy award-winning Rodney Jerkins. Since 1995, DeJaVoux has performed on many stages throughout from the Blue Angel to Justin’s to the Comedy Club. In recent times, DeJaVoux has been the featured artist as well as opened for music greats such as The Force MD’s, The Ladies of SKYY, Colonel Abrams, Melba Moore, and Johnny Kemp at the Sugar Bar’s Living Legend series.
Most recently, DeJaVoux has begun recording with seasoned producers/engineers like Tareaphe “T. Major” Richards & Dennis “Dgatez” McCalla. Her musical family remains in constant expansion. DeJaVoux’s future accomplishments include release of a DeJaVoux project, as well as release of individual projects.
