Bio:: PYRX - A unique new style of music that offers high energy and a new wave of mainstream talent. Their sound is described as an eclectic mix of genre-bending Hip Hop, and California Reggae. The PYRX Band has stunned audiences far and wide. The members consist of 5 young innovative minds mixed with divine inspiration from Northern California. PYRX has toured the states since their first album release "INFINITE MEDICINE" (2003) and has steadily increased its venues and fan base at an exceptional rate. PYRX is creating the next level of entertainment, and have set their visions to the top.

With the release of their 2nd album "LIKE THE RHYTHM" (2006) PYRX raised the bar with rave reviews that led to national exposure, including articles in well-known magazines. Following that exposure, PYRX has been blessed to perform with in-demand musical acts such as: Maroon5, Redman, Julian & Stephen Marley, Rebelution, Anthony B, Richie Spice, Anthony B, Barrington Levy, Eek A Mouse, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Kottonmouth Kings, and many others. The continued support of their loyal fans, and over 20 sponsors, has built their music into a household name on the West Coast.

In early 2008, PYRX was named "BEST NEW/UNDERGROUND ARTIST OF THE YEAR" by High Times Magazine. PYRX accepted their achievement along with a gold-plated Doobie Award at the South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas. Throughout the rest of 2008, PYRX toured constantly across the U.S. and Canada. Ending out the year on tour, with Reggae legend Anthony B.

PYRX then unleashed on the thirty day “WEST COAST HUSTLE TOUR” in April 2009. This tour came fully equipped with one of Reggae’s rising stars: Collie Buddz, Pep Love from Heiroglyphics, and The New Kingston Band. On this tour, PYRX played for packed crowds at all the classic hot spots from San Diego to Seattle. Later that year they rocked the stage at Reggae Rising and Seattle Hemp Fest, performing their music for thousands of people.

2010 was a year dedicated to new creation. They launched an official website @ http://www.thepyrxband.com, and started an official fan club (PYRX PYROS). Meanwhile they spent most of their time recording new music in multiple studios, working tirelessly to create their highest grade product yet.

Proud to release their 3rd album "EVIDENCE OF SOUND", PYRX took their irie sound to crowds all over Cali. Performing at Health & Harmony Festival, jammin' with Richie Spice & Spanner Banner in Trinidad, stopping by Monterey Bay Reggae Fest, and finishing 2011 on the HARVEST HUSTLE TOUR with Hip Hop icon Devin The Dude.
