Tamela (vendetta a.k.a da goddess) reno was born and raised in St.louis, Missouri on 4-25-1986. The talented young tamela grew up singing and performing for family members and in school events. Growing up listening to Old school R&B and Soul music tamela gravitated towards hip hop at age 12 listening to artists and groups such as: Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, Lil Kim, NWA, Heavy D and the boys, Rakim, KRS1, Public Enemy, Foxy Brown, Missy Elliot, Mia X, LL Cool J, Twista, etc. Tamela eventually began to write music herself at age 12 and became inspired by fellow Midwest lyricist Marshal (Eminem a.k.a Slim shady) Mathers. She adopted the names Tigga, Midwest Princess, Lyrical, Brutality, and Da Goddess over the years, then gave birth to Vendetta Da Goddess in 2001. Under the name Vendetta she battled through out the halls of Beaumont High School. Age 24 she met a future label mate and signed with GUNSDOWN RECORDS...
