Tonight I begin recording my 3 most important songs in my career. These songs are being sent to a Producer/Recording Engineer, Chris Woods (Alicia Keys, Brian McKnight) in L.A. as per HIS Request. How awesome is that! He will mix & master what I record here with Joe Teresi here in Rochester and shop to his industry friends and Record Labels. Holy Hell! Finally!!  I have new JJ Lang Band Music to posted!!!  Take a listen to "Voodoo Highway" in my music player. "Voodoo Highway" is the 1st song I wrote in the new chapter of my musical journey. "Voodoo" has a straight up Rock Groove with a nice Southern Bite! Its where it all began. This song somes up the term I created for our sound.. "Northern Rock, Southern Roll". Hi all! Well, the new CD will be a 6 song EP. This will be Part 1 of 2 EP's to be released in 2014. Part 2 will be recorded and released later this year. That's the plan at this stage. The 1st 6 songs are being mixed as we speak and as soon as I receive the final mix,  I will submit 2 songs to the 2014 Indie Music Channel Awards for consideration. New songs to be posted as soon as I get em!  Talk soon!

This Sunday is the day!  I go in to the Recording Studio to lay down all the Vocal Tracks on the upcoming JJ Lang Band CD!  Hopefully, this will be mixed by next week, then I will submit some tunes to for the upcoming 20114 Indie Music Channel Awards!  Looks like I'll be returning to LA as well!!  Aside from the Award Show on the 27th..I have a my own show booked at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd on Tues April 29th!!  See you soon!!!
