What an amazing trip!  What an amazing night!  I am so glad that I went out to Hollywood for the awards.  I was the fortunate winner of Best Contemporary Christian Demo for the song "Carrie Cries".  Of course it was fabulous to be there in person to accept this award, but it would have been a completely rewarding trip even if I hadn't won.  Meeting all of these wonderful indie artists face to face and finally meeting Christopher Ewing was outstanding!  Being able to tour Ocean Way Recording Studio was a mind blowing experience, and partying in the courtyard of the infamous Sunset Gower Studios and the members only Foundation Room at the Hollywood House of Blues was amazing. 

Now, I have the privilege of using this award to open doors and make opportunities to share the Gospel through my music.  I am so grateful for the nomination and the win.  It means so much knowing that industry professionals were the judges.  I will not rest on my laurels, I will show my appreciation by working hard, striving to be better and always supporting my fellow indie artists however I can.  Amazing trip....  Amazing night!
