Blabpipe is an American New England based Rock/Blues/Alternative/Grunge band made up of Ray Villar & Sean Dollar…

Blabpipe began as friends jamming after work. Having met at the same 2nd shift job; Ray Villar, Sean Dollar, and Chris Morse started jamming on a regular basis as three guitar players. To round out a band sound, Chris brought in his drum set and Ray brought in his Bass guitar. The first practices began with Sean on Bass, Ray on Drums and Chris on Guitar. Ray is a prolific writer with over 10 years of experience in music in his home town of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and offered his own original songs as material for band practice.

As practice turned into looking for gigs, Chris moved on to pursue other interests. With a gap in the line-up, Ray & Sean asked another fellow employee to join the band; Ali "Kat" Krzton. Kat had guitar & bass experience, so this new lineup had Ali on Bass, Sean on Drums, and Ray on Lead Guitar & Vocals. It was this line-up that played the first Blabpipe live gig, at a company musical event called TANApalooza (Videos of these performances are available online) in 2006. Just as the trio began to gather momentum from some successful gigs at local parties, Ali moved out of the New England area and left the band to pursue a higher education.

With Ray & Sean again looking to keep Blabpipe in motion, they hatched a scheme to pre-record the drums onto a cd, that would then (played through the mixer at live shows) emulate a live drummer with only 2 band members! This current line-up of Blabpipe features Sean on Bass and (pre-recorded) Drums, and Ray on Lead/Rhythm Guitar & Vocals. With the sound perfected through local "Open Mic" performances around VT & NH, Blabpipe was ready to enter the studio (aka The BlabCave) to create the first Blabpipe album!

Blabpipe's debut self-titled album features 13 tracks; ranging from acoustic to grunge guitars- from soulful ballads to hard rocking anthems- from melodic bass riffs to blistering guitar solos- from…
