How is it that we wake to just another day?
You kiss your family and you get on your way
The coffee talk with friends of weekend plans you made
Check your messages, your routine underway

But we will never be the same…

I didn’t know you yesterday, I still don’t know your name
But I know your face I’ve seen it every other day
あっという間に家族のようになっていて　(and suddenly we’re like a family)
お互いに命を支えて　(and together we save each other’s lives)
手をつなぎながら
手をつなぎながら　

Media madness prolongs the shaking sound
Taking us backwards like the world is falling down
Somehow in all of it are open arms out wide
The love the world inherently has down inside

And somehow hope is in our eyes…
