To start this blog... I guess I'd like to say hello and that you are all beautiful if you ask me. My name is Jesse, Jesse Butler if you want to get formal. I have been playing guitar since I was a kid though I never cared for it much and did it "When it felt right...". Yeah... everyone knows that all children born after the 1960's was born with this amazing disease where for some reason they lack the ability to sit down and recite facts and learn things which they don't care about- thank god somebody in the 1800's first thought "Whoa, we already put cocaine in coca cola- let's bump it up with some good ol amphetamines.
History aside I guess I should talk about this band thing I got going on. Three years ago, I was told by this very intelligent yet incredibly awkward girl that a Beta Burst is a twitch that some people experience while they fall asleep. The reason for this is there is a center in the brain which measures energy demands in the body and when it notes that the body as it falls asleep is demanding less energy and your brain- acting in its typical "glass is half empty mentality" jumps the gun and assumes your dying. So it has a test ready, it sends out a burst of energy and if you're nerves result in a twitch then HOORAH! you're alive- god bless us everyone.
That is a Beta Burst. I thought it was pretty damn cool and decided to start a band called just that only plural. Within no time at all I found a very talented drummer and good friend of mine who was on board. It took a week for the idea to germinate.
Since then we have tried out a slew of new members, some lasting longer than others and finally we just recently settled on two new chaps who are incredible musicians, hard workers and straight up damn good looking. We as a unit are more able, prepared, willing and actively pursuing the challenge that is the music game. We hope to have one hell of an adventure. I plan to update this blog semi-regularly so by all means- please check us out
