Detroit's Kedder Avant is literally the culmination of a dream. Soul-searching yet oftentimes light-hearted vocals and rhythm guitar is complemented by funky bass stylings, shoegaze-tinged dreamy guitar leads and headbang-worthy snare pounding. Throw in Jimmy Morris on drunken hillfolk afterparty and a sound is derived covering an auditory terrain as diverse as it is lush.

The Beatles and The Pixies had a lovechild who punched Elvis Costello in the face... That lovechild is Kedder Avant.
