Bio:: Every few decades in our lives we get to experience some really great singers and entertainers. Well, once again in 2022 we get to experience another amazing singer and her name is “Dossi Minor.” The beautiful and talented singer, songwriter and vocal producer has been singing since the age of 3 years old. Like most singers, Dossi (pronounced like “Bossy”) grew up singing in her Cleveland OH family church and began leading songs with her dad’s quartet group at age 5. By the time she was ready to attend high school, there was no doubt that “Cleveland school of the Arts” would be her choice. Dossi also studied voice and piano at Cleveland’s famous music school, “The Music Settlement” or TMS as it is affectionately called. Her first professional experience came at age 16 when she began touring and singing background for her cousin, Neo Soul singer “Conya Doss.” From there she began working with up and coming artist Durand Bernarr.
In 2015 her singing career really blossom when she was hired to sing background with the legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame soul group, “The O’Jays.”
It was here during her five-year tenure with the group, that numerous opportunities were presented to her. Dossi began to appear on major television shows, commercials, singing on albums, and performing in front of millions of people. She has toured extensively in the US and overseas gracing stages in Paris, Amsterdam, England, Canada, and across the Caribbean. Dossi has shared the stage with such legendary artist like The Isley Brothers, Patti LaBell, Gladys Knight, and Chaka Khan, to Brandy, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia and so many more.
Now with years of experience as an accomplished live and studio singer, she has emerged from the background and into her own spotlight. The independent R&B recording artist has just released her first single entitled “Falling in Love” on all digital media platforms. The song is a heart-stirring ballad where she delves into all the emotions one experiences when falling in love with another soul. As a songwriter, Dossi endeavors to express real-life experiences through moving melodies, memorable choruses and eloquent verses from her heart and soul. In addition to her single, she continues to re- produce music monthly through her YouTube channel, “Dossi Sings.” There, you’ll hear her covering popular songs from all genres with innovative twists and vocal arrangements. Her husband “E-Minor” whose real name is Earl Minor Jr., is an accomplished keyboardist and producer of all her music. The couple’s young daughter Eden, (Lady Eden) is often featured on her mom’s channel show-casing her own vocal abilities. With everything seemingly in-house, “The Minors” are an unstoppable force in

the music industry. Dossi modestly summarizes her illustrious musical career with, “I authentically love music, and I am unapologetically me.”
