Chandler Juliet began singing before she could walk. “My mom says I used to sing myself to sleep in my crib” says the singer-songwriter-actress. Born of two professional Los Angeles studio musicians, (credits include Grammy nominations for Single "Let's Fall in Love" Calabria Foti Feat. Seth MacFarlane, working on a Grammy winning Daft Punk Record, as well as several others, and performance credits on several FOX television shows such as Family Guy, the Simpson's, etc.) music and performing always came easy to her. She was in her first play as the lead in “A Star is Born” at her church at age 7, and began writing original songs on her mother’s old guitar by age 10. “Writing music was sometimes the only way I could express myself”.
She has continued pursuing her passions of acting and songwriting throughout her childhood, and in 2013, she started professionally recording her songs. Her debut EP Turning Points was released in 2014. The full length album, LOUD HEART is set for release in 2015.
The album features songs she has written about past experiences, including heartbreak, loss, falling in love, learning to be yourself, and following your heart, but while always remembering to have fun. She describes her unique sound as, “a blend of pop, indie, and alternative” as well as incorporating other genres. She lists John Mayer, Katy Perry, and Jason Mraz, and Sara Bareilles as some of her influences.
When she isn’t writing and performing, Chandler studies acting and loves improvisational comedy. She is a founding member of the LA based Improv Comedy Troupe “Scared Scriptless”.
