- When O.T.K. first hit the scene with their rhythmic flow, mellifluous sound, and catchy choruses, it told a different story for the 6 member group out of South Carolina. They quickly earned their respect and gave a new meaning to Hip-Hop. .They bring a different style to their rhymes and when it all comes together, there is no way that Anything they do wouldn't be a HIT. This group definitely has a propitious future ahead of them... the 6 talented, young group of emcees strive to be the best in the game and are well on their way. The group consists of Rashad Grier (Shad-Gizzle), Melaneice Vasquez (Melly-V), Kereb Adams (Reb-Magic), Ja’Vontae Davis (Tae-Slash), Jamie Dodd (Jay-Dodd), and Arnoldis Pilgrim (Mann-E-Boy) They began to set trends in school that people eventually would follow. In the summer of 2010, Arnoldis, Jamie and Kereb discovered that each of them could rap and would eventually bring Melaneice on board to start a group. The group would later learn that Rashad could write music, they labeled him as the “Hook Man”. Later Ja’ Vontae was added to the fold and it became a 6 member group. The group would spend the summer writing and performing at Open Mics at Club Cream, Jose Bananas, PJ’s, Red Flame, Club Spooneys, Club Sidelines, and Club Crucial in Atlanta, GA. The Krew will release their first mixtape, “The Terminal”, April 30th 2011. O.T.K feels that music should define who you are and it should leave you with an experience far better than what you have been exposed to. “Music should move you….. make you feel something. It’s about expression and passion.
