Formed in 2001 by Chris Foote, Dmitri Suleymanyan, and Jesse Saltzman, Ars Nova consists of a rotating lineup of members, performing songs written by Chris Foote, and acting as an advocate for various causes. Amongst these causes are: Ending the so-called "Loudness War" in the recording industry, and it's practices of extreme dynamic range compression; Showing support for Net Neutrality; Promoting vocal harmony in modern music; Sharing information on the exponential growth of technology, and its implications.
