Bio:: North 2 South covers a wide variety of music from all genres in their popular Tampa Bay nighclub act as well as being an international songwriting competition award winning originals act. Their single "LONG GONE LOVER", reached #1 for 3 weeks @ MusicTampaBay.com's Top 100 Songs of the Week, and finished out the year at #6 in the internet indie stations TOP 10 Songs of the Year 2009, chosen by the listeners. They have released 3 Cds of original music to critical acclaim of peers and music professionals with a sound that is uniquely their own in the country rock arena. In 2005, founding members husband/wife singer/songwriting team Cindy Lucas and Frank J. LaRosa, were nominated for BEST COUNTRY SONG in the 2004/2005 JPF Music Awards, also known as "The Grassroots Grammys" which is the largest free songwriting competition in the world.
