Crimson makes it hard to tell the difference between your TV and your stereo: his rhymes are stuffed with images, from his life growing up in Harlem, to his college experience; and even from his muscled imagination as a Comic Book writer: pictures. Call him Crimson; with no gang affiliations, he's come to heat the blood of Hip-Hop, warm the veins of Rap. Writing almost all of his life, Crimson is instant poetry. He takes the raw language from the street and translates it over a beat. No more soggy raps about the Hip-Hop trinity: guns, money and ho's; Crim has come to take it back to the lyricism of yesterday with the fresh light of today.
