Bio:
Crystal grew up in Alexis, NC. She started attending shows and concerts in Charlotte when she was 13 years old. At the age of 18, she moved to Hawaii where she began playing guitar. While living on the North Shore of Oahu, she started writing music and has since wrote over 250 songs. Her music tends to focus on her life stories, as well as tales of the secular and spiritual world we animate in. From her harsh to whisper-esque vocals and finger picking guitar playing, in which she literally rarely uses a pick, her style is eccentric and flamboyant. While performing in Washington Square Park in the heart of Greenwich Village, NYC recently, a beautiful local woman and park regular, who attended Woodstock commented, "We haven't had this spirit here since Bob Dylan and Joan Baez played in the park."
