We are Death Before Dishonor also known as DBD, a young, creative, Rap, Hip-Hop group. “We’re us and they’re them. It’s always going to be this way.”


We’re from NewYork, born and raised here.
At present we are working on a catalog of new music for you the people, which include a list of mixtures and videos. Telling a story about our journey here to the fans. We’re making our music downloadable from the web, performing “live” shows, participating in giveaways.

David “Dangerous” Turner, Founder, artist, performer, and songwriter.
Jason “J-Dubb” Wilson, Cofounder, performer, and songwriter.
Created Death Before Dishonor in 2000 and began making appearances at shows.
Together we have created over 100 songs, mixed-tapes, and our own CDs. Began recording in studios in early years and now create our own recordings.

Some of the places we’ve performed at are: Northern Lights, Red Square, Purple Lounge, Empire State Plaza, community and social events.

We plan to explore many facets of the music industry. Music is the career path we have chosen to express our emotions and views to an audience that will accept and understand its meaning. We have noticed (as well as our audience) how we have progressed with our involvement in music. We have grown beautifully since we began and will always be who we are.
