Bio:
Singing all over Illinois and throughout the midwest since the age of thirteen. Dawn Shannon has sang for thousands of country fans at various popular, country opry shows. She gained great attention winning the local Wrangler Country Showdown. With over 2000 contestants and four nights of competition she finished first. At the age of fifteen Dawn Shannon, along with Robert Miller, started a band called Pure Gold. For the next five years they played three or more gigs a week throughout Illinois. The time came for Dawn to pursue her music further so she moved to Nashville Tennessee where she teamed up with songwriters Mac Gayden and Steve Leach and continued along her musical path of songwriting and singing. You will now find her singing at various country oprys around Illinois and working with Master guitarist Tim Wallis on various musical projects. If you love the real country music sound then you will love her.
