Bio:: In the Spring of 2009, five musicians were determined to bring great hard rock music to Oxford, MS. Realizing that there was a general lack of good rock bands in the area, they formed the band Faulkner Alley, named after a local writer who lived there. Max Victory, a local promoter, says, "Faulkner Alley brings a sound that this town is in desperate need of." Faulkner Alley was originally formed by the talented drummer Daniel Russell, whose garage it was the band first used as a practice space. After winning a local Battle of the Bands, a gifted guitar player, Kyle Sanders, joined the band. Soon, he and the lead singer Greg Earnest became the creative force in the bands' original songs. As each members' skills improved, the band played in regional venues like Goodtime Charlies in Tupelo, MS, Electric Cowboy in Jackson, MS, and Hard Rock Cafe in Memphis, TN. In their travels, the band gathered a local following of around 100 fans, and an online fan base of around 350. With dreams of playing their music full-time, Faulkner Alley looks forward to touring the United States and bringing their love of rock to the rest of the world.
